Lesotho School Uniform Drive

During our visit to Lesotho last year, we became aware of the dire need for school uniform shirts for the children in rural Lesotho. Most of their school shirts are old and thinning and some are so worn out that the collars are attached by a few threads.

We are raising funds to buy new shirts for the children at R100.00 each. If you would like to make a contribution please do so below using our secure Payfast gateway.

Tateni Toy Drive 2018

As the year draws to a close, it’s time to think about how the festive season will be celebrated by those less fortunate than ourselves. So in true Rotary spirit, the community service committee of the Rotary Club of Pretoria Hatfield have arranged a Toy Drive to collect toys and games for the children who are supported by the Tateni Community Care Service in Mamelodi.

Tateni Community Care Services is a reputable community-based non-governmental organisation (NGO) with more than twenty years of experience in providing care and support to orphans and vulnerable children in Mamelodi and its surrounding informal settlements. About 308 children currently benefit from Tateni Community Care Service at its ten drop-in centres.

The Rotary Club of Pretoria Hatfield have been supporting the after care of needy school children with toiletries and sanitary items, as well as birthday celebrations for the learners.

We are looking for toys, puzzles, game sets and clothing to distribute to the children. Board games, table tennis game, fingerboard sets, chess sets and well cared for clothes for boys and girls.

If you would prefer to make a monetary contribution, you can do so below.
